Special Interest Report of 5,000 American adults that investigates how optical consumers use the Internet to shop for and purchase different types of eyewear including prescription glasses, contact lenses, plano sunglasses, and over-the-counter readers. The report explores consumers' use of the Internet for "window shopping" functions when buying eyewear, websites used by consumers to research and purchase eyewear, satisfaction with their online purchase, and likelihood of making future purchases online. Demographic breakdown of the results are available by age, gender, annual household income, region of residence and general online shopping habits/usage. Comparisons between 2017, 2018 and 2020 results are also included.
